What’s with Pattaya’s Toilet Jockeys?
I've just had my first night on Walking Street this trip and I’m already pissed off with going into go go bars toilets and finding some smirking toilet jockey waiting on me hand and foot.
It’s embarrassing to have to pee when some bloke is sizing me up for a tip, or a back massage - or even worse? And it’s annoying.
What’s the point of having men hanging round in girlie go go bar toilets anyway?
It's weird.
Plus it means more men don't wash their hands, and if you're in some bars that's definitely a biohazard.

We agree that this practice should be stamped out. Can't men wash their own hands?
Next they'll employ an aimer for those too lazy or drunk to do it for themselves.
But more seriously, some of the people working the toilets are quite poor, and need the job, and many we encounter are polite and friendly, with some exceptions.
Our suggestion would be to avoid bars where they employ toilet attendants if they cause you to have such serious "pissues" .

I just say meow krup, kapun krup or words to that effect, smile and go about my business, now if you have some extra change, it would be a nice jest to help them, feed their children, wife or self, state your wishes from the get-go and if your out there spending, a little coin their way, could just be a tad of insurance to cover your back, cha,cha,cha.

The reason why they are there is because of the overwhelming majority of gay fellangs in Pattaya who are always on the look-out for some quick homosexual action. They know they can make big money off it, and they do. Over half of fellangs in Pattaya these days are either gays or into ladyboys, which amoutns to the same thnig.

Go to any small town, Muay Thai stadium or any other event in Thailand and you will find these men in the bathrooms....making a few baht from drying your hands or giving you a massage.
