A boutiqe hotel near Soi Bukhao
Walking in to Adelphi, you will find a large reception area, with a balcony. The hotel has changed owner, and we have stayed here with both current and last owners.
After you the reception, you have the elevators before you reach the breakfast-room. You can rent a room here with or without breakfast. The breakfast is ok, but because of alot of chinese guests we do not recommend the breakfast. It is the first hotel we stayed at, where guest just threw food on the floor that they didnt like. A reminder is that not all guests are like that, but we saw it on 5 of 5 days. It is a couple of years a go we stayed there, so we hope the tourguide since the have been given out tips on how to behave.
The reception and staff are smiling and have a high grade of service. But that is for foreign people. A couple staying here (Foreign/thai married) had experienced on 2 occations that she was not able to walk to the room alone. He had to come get here. That is not the way to treat at staying guest (yes, her name was registered to the room).
Housekeeping is great here. Always smiling and they are not pushing for tips. They are happy and do not enter when “Do not disturb” sign is put up.
The rooms are clean and large. The balcony perfect for getting fresh air. The hotel is in a quiet street so not alot of noise. Only noise is when the Massage-parlour across the street received a busload of Indian tourists. Other than that, its quiet.
On the roof they have a great pool and enough sun to get you a nice tan. Would be great if it was bar-service here, but sadly no.
If you want to stay near soi Bukhaow, but not in Soi Bukhaow, this is recommended. Its a walking distance to Soi LK Metro and to Central Festival.
